"Thanks! The whole Ukraine-Russian complex is really overwhelming, and it's interesting too see how the Ukrainians struggle to define their own identity, like we did here in Norway 200 years ago.
As I see it Norway had a very strong, uniting identity when we got our freedom in 1905, but since it has all degenerated, and I don't know what make us a people anymore?
To get an identity as a people is a hard job that takes a long time, and we in Norway should have been more careful with our identity.
Especially after we found oil in 1969 Norwegians deteriorated completely, now we don't have more identity than an average American shopping mall.
I hope and pray the Ukrainians can have their freedom and form a strong, unifying identity, becoming a bridge between East and West." - PermaLiv
Enten er det jeg som har degenerert, ellers så er det landet mitt. Jeg satser på det siste :-)
